UI Developer for AOSP Infotainment system
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer specializing in framework development and deep system integration for an assignment in Lund. Join us to work on advanced Android solutions, from designing and optimizing system services to collaborating with UX teams to create scalable and user-friendly components.

Your ProfileRequired Skills:- Strong foundation in Android application development (Kotlin/Java).
- Experience with Android Framework development and deep system integration.
- Understanding of Android system services (OverlayManager, PackageManager, etc.).
- Proficiency in Gradle and Soong/Android.bp build systems.
- Knowledge of XML-based UI development (layouts, styles, themes, resources).
- Ability to debug framework-level issues and navigate AOSP source code.
- Understanding of Android resource overlay mechanisms (RRO).
- Experience collaborating with UX/Design teams to translate design specifications into technical implementations.
- Experience in API design and requirements gathering to define clear, usable component APIs.
- Ability to bridge design and engineering by decomposing visual designs into reusable, maintainable Android components
- Experience with modern Android development (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow).
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger, Hilt, Koin).
- Knowledge of Python for scripting and test frameworks.
- Understanding of Android automotive/embedded systems.
- Experience with library/SDK development for multiple applications.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
