Are you passionate about problem-solving and service in a dynamic, fast-growing company? ALTEN is looking for a User Support Technician to join our Nordic IT team in Gothenburg. In this role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across all departments, ensuring smooth IT operations for ALTEN Sweden.

Your Role
As a User Support Technician, you will:
• Install and configure software and operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and procurement.
• Provide IT support via phone, ticketing systems, and in-person assistance.
• Work at our Gothenburg headquarters (full-time, permanent position).
• Occasionally travel to other ALTEN offices in Sweden (a few times per year).
Start date: As soon as possible (by agreement).

Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has a post-secondary education in IT, computer science, or a related field.
* Has at least a year of experience in user and device support.
* Is fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
* It’s a plus if you have ITIL experience or certification.
*Thrives in a social, service-oriented role.

Technical Skills:
• Active Directory & Office 365 (required).
• Microsoft server/client OS, Identity Management, and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
• (Bonus) Apple client support & networking knowledge.

Personal Traits:
• User-focused, collaborative, and solution-driven.
• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented (especially in documentation).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
