ALTEN Places 8th On Karriärföretagens Top 10

It’s with great pride we share the news that ALTEN has taken place on Karriärföretagens top 10 list for “Civil Engineers Year 1 – 2 “. It’s a great addition to the accolade of being named a Career Company 2021.

Karriärföretagen has, via its student network, conducted a study during the period March – April 2021. The purpose was to identify possible future employers by asking “who are the top three most attractive and exciting employers among the 2021 Career Companies?”.

The Voting

In total, 2.057 students between the ages 20 – 30 studying an academic education programme participated in the voting. They are in turn divid into Civil Engineering students, Bachelor Engineering students (högskoleingenjörer), Economy students, IT-students and Law students.

We can see that the students has an for well-established and secure employers, but they’re also more curious on the smaller growth companies than before. They’re also seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the pandemic, which we believe has affected their choice of future employer.” Peter Wigton, Chairman of Karriärföretagen

 

Career Company 2021

The selection process to be named a Career Company consists of three steps: The base criteria and definitions are set, upon which the expert panel will review and finally the jury is the last to decide. The criteria are:

  • At least 250 employees and/or a turnover of more than 250 MSEK
  • HR Manager in the organization
  • Ongoing work with recruiting
  • “Up & Coming”-employers who might fall short on the above criteria but has excelled in their Employer Branding work during the past year
