Are you interested in AI and its role in Life Sciences and Medical Devices? Are you curious about how to move from an idea to building a working prototype? Welcome to an exciting case evening together at ALTEN’s Jönköping office!

ALTEN Jönköping invites you to an evening at our office, for an interactive workshop on software development and artificial intelligence in MedTech. This event is for anyone with a general interest as well as experienced AI developers. You could be from a non-computer science related course and still be eligible to apply. You will be given the opportunity to learn about the practical applications of how software is developed to facilitate medical diagnosis and build assistive devices. We will have time to mingle with food and beverages, where we will answer all your questions regarding a career at ALTEN and interact with our consultants to find out what the life of a consultant is really like.

The case will be presented by our consultants Henrik Eklund, Glenn Sondell and Vishwas Devagiri as well as our consultants Anas Mussa and Madalina Aldea, Alumni from Jonkoping university. You will also be able to meet our two ALTEN Business managers Tobias Molund and Samuel Wikström.

About the Case

We don’t want to reveal too much to keep it as exciting as possible. But what we can say to give you a better understanding of what the case will look like:

• The case will be solved using Artificial Neural Networks and Computer Vision.
• It will include a hands-on, real-life programming challenge. (You will be using your own computers; make sure to have a google account to be able to use Google Drive and Google Colab.)
• Will challenge you from analysis of problem statement, methodology and coding abilities.*

*Based on what you want to try and your prior knowledge, you will be able to influence what you focus on during the case. This is to ensure that you learn as much as possible in the area you want to develop in.

What: Software development and AI in MedTech

Where: the ALTEN office at Vasavägen 3C, Jönköping

When: Tuesday 4 April. We start at 17.00 with us treating everyone with food and aim to finish around 21.00.

For: We are looking for students who are both experienced developers as well as new to developing, but interested in learning new things. All experience levels are welcome to apply — the evening is open to all!
