ALTEN Sweden is looking for a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in Battery Enclosure Mechanics to join an exciting automotive project in Gothenburg. You will play a key role in the development of next-generation electrified vehicles, contributing to the design and delivery of battery enclosure solutions that are critical for vehicle safety, performance, and durability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing mechanical components and solutions for battery enclosure systems.
• Working with CATIA V5 for concept development and detailed design activities.
• Using Teamcenter/TCPLM for product data management and engineering documentation.
• Designing aluminum and steel components.
• Participating in technical problem-solving and development activities throughout the product development process.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and balancing multiple requests and priorities.
• Contributing to project deliveries in a fast-paced and evolving development environment.

Who You Are:

• Proficient in CATIA V5.
• Experience working with Teamcenter/TCPLM.
• Experience designing aluminum and steel components.
• Experience with HPDC and mechanical design.
• Comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities and short deadlines.
• Able to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing requests.
• Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
