ALTEN Sweden is looking for an experienced Hardware Lead Engineer to join an exciting assignment within the automotive industry. In this role, you will be part of a Hardware Release team within Connectivity Platform, supporting hardware releases, documentation, supplier coordination, and product deliveries throughout the development lifecycle.

About the role

• Drive hardware release activities and secure deliveries according to project milestones.
• Manage hardware part number releases and related documentation.
• Coordinate and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure alignment between KDP, TCPLM, TcE, and associated release documentation.
• Support release approvals, deviations, and change management activities.
• Coordinate supplier hardware release planning and delivery follow-up.
• Manage supplier backlog, technical discussions, and review activities.
• Support factory and aftermarket organizations with release-related topics.
• Contribute to sourcing activities and documentation management for new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and project organizations.

Who You Are

• Experience from product development within the automotive industry.
• Background in hardware, electronics, electrical systems, or component ownership.
• Experience as Component Owner, Responsible Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar.
• Experience managing components or electronic systems through development and release phases.
• Knowledge of supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with design reviews, technical documentation, and change management.
• Familiar with tools and processes such as KDP, TCPLM, VPDC, VPC, Planisware, Jira, or similar.
• Experience working with hardware releases, product structures, part numbers, or configuration management is highly meritorious.
• Fluent in English.
