ALTEN Sweden is currently seeking skilled and motivated developer to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with different domains and be part of strategic technology transfers and platform integrations for national defense operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Proven proficiency in C# and experience building robust desktop applications.
  • Experience with C++ and WPF.
  • Solid understanding of the .NET framework and its capabilities for scalable, efficient software.
  • Experience in working in a structured way with quality assurance, for example unit- and integration tests.
  • Fluency in English. If you’re not yet fluent in Swedish, you’re eager to learn and likely already making progress.
  • Availability to work primarily on-site at Mölndal (Gothenburg).
  • Meritorious: Experience with 3D graphics or robotics.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

You are passionate about software development and bring valuable experience in building innovative, commercial desktop applications. You have:

  • Professional experience in C#/.NET development.
  • A BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in robotics, intuitive programming, advanced simulation, and digital twin concepts.
  • A collaborative mindset—you’re a team player who inspires and contributes to shared success.
  • The ability to dive deep into technical details while maintaining a strategic, long-term perspective.
  • A clear understanding of technical trade-offs and the ability to prioritize effectively.
